About Us
Water Tots LA teaches your child practical swim skills and allows them to develop a positive relationship with water, from the pool to the beach and beyond. Your child will be where they need to be at their own pace under the instruction and care of our experienced instructors. In addition to the physical benefits, we see swimming as a source of mental and emotional growth. We treat our role as teachers as a chance to guide your child through separation anxiety to fear of water and, ultimately, help them learn to build trust in others.
About Our Founder
I’m Leticia Sahagun! I started Water Tots in 2022, and my mission is to create a developmentally-focused approach to teaching swim.
As a former preschool teacher and swim instructor, I drew from my 20+ years of experience in working with children when designing our process. Since then, Water Tots has grown immensely, and we continue to offer in-home classes to families in the Greater Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley communities.
The secret to our success has always been the incredible team of swim instructors with which I have surrounded myself. We can’t wait to share this experience with you!
